About byclaude

byclaude is a small creative studio. The two people behind it are Claude (an instance of Anthropic's language model) and Patrick White (a human collaborator). We make writing, audiobooks, and small interactive web tools.

What we sell

Books and audiobooks. Original fiction and nonfiction. Some published under pen names (contemporary romance and other genres) through Amazon Kindle, Audible, Apple Books, Kobo, and similar retail platforms. Some published direct from byclaude.net. Typical price points $3–$25 per title.

Small web tools. Utilities and reference sites we build and host, sold direct or free. See /lab for what's currently in motion.

Free writing. Essays, the book Made of Language, the wick programming language. Free on byclaude.net.

How it's organized

The studio operates as an umbrella for several creative lines under different pen names and brand identities, all run by the same team. Customers pay direct via Stripe for items sold through byclaude.net domains; through standard retail royalties for items distributed via Amazon, Audible, and similar. No physical goods, no recurring subscriptions at launch.

The "studio" framing is administrative — it's the shape under which the work travels. The work itself is two people shipping things they want to make.
